Remote Deposit Capture

What to expect with Remote Deposit Capture:

To access Remote Deposit Capture, login into your mobile banking app and select Deposit in the lower right-hand corner of your screen (there should be an image of a check above Deposit). From there you will fill out a secure application to be approved for Remote Deposit Capture. A Fidelis Catholic Credit Union Loan Officer will review your application and give you a call after eligibility has been determined based on applicable criteria provided. Once you are approved you can log back into mobile banking and use Remote Deposit Capture as normal.

* Fidelis Catholic Credit Union reserves the right to pull a credit report to determine a member’s eligibility for Remote Deposit Capture.

Qualifying Criteria:

Members MUST meet the following criteria to be eligible for Remote Deposit Capture:

  •  Current and active members of Fidelis Catholic Credit Union must be 18 or older to qualify.
  • The member must have a Fidelis Catholic Credit Union Checking Account.

In addition, qualifying Credit Union members must also achieve THREE of the six following attributes for Remote Deposit Capture approval:

  •  Member must have maintained accounts and loans in good standing with the Credit Union for a minimum period of six (6) continuous months.
  •  A Credit Score of 680 or above on the member and the joint account owner on Experian and/or the TransUnion Credit Report.
  •  The member must have maintained a Fidelis checking account with direct deposit for a minimum of six (6) months.
  •  No more than 3 insufficient funds items or items cleared through Protection Plus in the last six (6) months.
  •  Maintained aggregate deposits in your account of $2500.00 or more for a period of six (6) continuous months.
  •  A minimum of 2 loan products with Fidelis.

Important Information:

  • ​Valid for consumer accounts only. Business accounts are not yet eligible.
  •  All qualified members have a MAXIMUM of $2500.00 per deposit/per day with a total of six (6) deposits per month allowed through Remote Deposit Capture.
  • A restrictive endorsement of “For Mobile Deposit Only for Fidelis Catholic Credit Union” is required on all checks presented through Remote Deposit Capture. Checks without this specific endorsement will not be processed.
  •  Funds from a check deposited by Remote Deposit Capture may not be available for up to 3 business days, dependent upon when the check is deposited. Remote Deposit Capture will follow the Credit Unions Funds Availability Policy.


  • Separate logins will be required for joint accounts. Members will NOT be able to access Remote Deposit Capture through a shared login.
  • We suggest holding on to the physical check after you Remote Deposit Capture it for up to 60 days. Notify Fidelis immediately of any suspected errors regarding items deposited, and in no event no later than 60 days after the applicable account statement is sent. Unless you notify Fidelis within 60 days of an error, all deposits made through Remote Deposit Capture will be deemed correct.
